A beautifully crafted 1970s Italian desk by Dal Vera, a historic Italian furniture maker founded in Conegliano in 1884 and renowned for its work with rattan, bamboo and other natural materials. This exceptional piece perfectly captures the relaxed Riviera aesthetic of the period, with finely woven cane, softly rounded bamboo framing and original brass hardware. Its sculptural presence is beautifully balanced by its functionality, with two drawers providing practical storage. A design classic for collectors, with incredible quality throughout — a rare and highly desirable piece of Italian vintage design. Beautiful patina with only some minor signs of age which are to be expected with a piece of this age. Shown in images.
