An absolutely stunning and extremely rare large wall mirror by Maison Carlhain. Stamped and plated on the reverse. The Carlhian family operated a leading Paris-based interior design firm ‘Maison Carlhain’ from 1867-1988 and commissioned pieces like this to be made for hotels and private clients at that time. Their pieces are now extremely collectible and hard to come by. This incredible mirror would be perfect for above a mantle or in a hallway or bedroom. Fantastic vintage condition with minimal wear just one area of foxing to the top left corner of the mirror shown in the video. Two hooks on the reverse for hanging.
