A striking and expressive abstract composition by Swedish painter Martin Engström (b. 1952), whose bold, gestural style combines dynamic brushwork with a richly layered palette. Educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Engström has exhibited extensively across Sweden, with works held in prominent public collections and featured in regional museums and galleries. This large-scale painting is an exceptional example of his confident, energetic approach, offering a powerful visual presence that complements both contemporary and traditional interiors.
Presented in a simple artist’s frame, the painting remains in fantastic vintage condition, with only a tiny area of age-related crackling that is unobtrusive and does not detract from the overall impact of the piece in any way. Shown in images.

All items listed on our website are available to be picked up from our London location. Please select 'free pick-up' at checkout. Following your purchase, we will be in touch to discuss pick-up times. All items are ready to be picked up within 24 hours of purchase.

If you wish to return your item, we offer a 7 day return policy from date of receipt. Please notify us of your return as soon as possible. Your order will be fully refunded (excluding any shipping costs) as long as it is returned in its original condition within 7 days.
